Conference FAQs

How do I register?

Registration for the conference is done through our Eventbrite page. We use Eventbrite as our event hosts because it is a secure way to sell event tickets online. It also allows us to send emails and updates and manage all conference attendees in one place so there’s no risk of missing an email. Payments on Eventbrite are done via Paypal.

What is included in registration?

Registration includes a complimentary light breakfast as well as access to the entire day of classes and the Conference Market. Lunch and drinks will be available for purchase on the grounds or you can bring your own.

What is the Conference Market?

The “Conference Market” is simply an opportunity for our wonderful speakers to sell their handmade, local products. Attendees (and speakers!) have the opportunity to browse the wares before and after classes and during breaks. It’s a wonderful opportunity to support local crafters.

What classes will be held?

Classes vary year to year. Please check our Conference Schedule page and our Speakers page for up to date details.

Where is the conference held?

This year (2016) the conference is moving! It will be held at Meeman-Shelby Forest State Park in Millington, TN.  Please see our Location page for more information.

How much does it cost? 

Registration is available on a graduated basis:

Early Bird Registration before July 1: $25.00/person
Registration after July 1: $35.00/person

If space is not exceeded, tickets will also be available at the door the day of the event for $38. We highly recommended registering early to ensure a spot and get the best pricing!

Children under 12 are always free with a parent.

Please note that Eventbrite does charge a small fee for processing the ticket order.

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?

Children 12 or younger can attend the conference free with an adult — proof of age is required for older children. Younger children should be supervised at all times for their own safety.

What can/can’t I bring to the event?

Please do not bring any alcoholic beverages or pets (except service animals). No smoking is allowed on the premises.

Please bring extra cash (small bills) if you plan on purchasing items from the Conference Market.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, proof of registration is required to attend.

What is the refund policy?

Registration can be refunded up to August 15th. Refunds will not be issued after that date. However, registrations can be transferred to another individual if you are unable to attend.
